1st European map of demonstrations and testing activities related to CCAM
Discover the first interactive European map of demonstrations and testings activities related to CCAM technologies, released by the EU-funded ARCADE Coordination and Support Action: https://lnkd.in/dMaNu8Ug.
This map aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the CCAM initiatives in Europe and visualise what is being tested where and by whom across the 27 Member States, the UK, and EFTA countries. This mapping helps to identify synergies, overlaps, and complementaries between initiatives and thus enable better planning and alignment for a coordinated and harmonised deployment of CCAM in Europe.
Today, the Knowledge Base offers:
- A list of more than 313 projects; close to 50% is from the EU Member States.
- A map of 170 test sites so far from about 50 projects and initiatives, classified by test types (public road tests, corridors, test tracks, and simulators) and by vehicle types used in the projects (shuttle, passenger vehicles, and trucks).
The support of all the stakeholders and actors from the CCAM value chain is essential to keep the Knowledge Base up to date. The Member States also have a crucial role in providing up-to-date information on ongoing programmes and projects regarding the agreed “Conclusions and actions to be taken from the 4th high-level meeting on CAD”.
