Save the Date: MODI Final Event at the Port of Antwerp-Bruges

MODI final event 2026

The MODI project is one of Europe’s flagship initiatives advancing automated, connected and interoperable logistics. By bringing together industry leaders, research organisations and public authorities, MODI addresses the barriers that still limit the deployment of automated heavy-duty vehicles in real operational environments.

Through large-scale demonstrations across five cross-border corridors, the project is testing automation in complex logistics settings, exploring harmonised regulatory approaches and developing solutions that can make freight transport safer, more efficient and more sustainable. MODI aims to accelerate the transition towards autonomous logistics in Europe while strengthening the competitiveness of the European transport and mobility ecosystem.

In this context, the MODI Final Event will take place on 15–16 September 2026 at the Port of Antwerp-Bruges, as part of the Port Future Week.

Hosted within one of Europe’s most innovative port environments, the event will be organised in close synergy with the Autonomous Summit, creating a unique meeting point for stakeholders shaping the future of automated logistics and mobility.

The programme will feature presentations, panel discussions and networking opportunities with MODI partners, offering insights into the project’s key results, lessons learned and recommendations for future deployment.

Demonstrations and interactive sessions are also under consideration to provide participants with a tangible view of the project’s achievements and practical applications.

Stakeholders across the transport, logistics and mobility sectors are encouraged to save the date for what promises to be an important milestone for the future of automated logistics in Europe.
