CCAM Calls in Horizon Europe WP2026 are now open for submission

The CCAM Calls in Horizon Europe WP2026 are now open for submission.

With a deadline of 8 October 2026, the new calls focus on advancing technologies and approaches that can contribute to safer, smarter and more sustainable mobility systems.

The 2026 work programme includes funding opportunities in three strategic areas:

🔹 Large-scale demonstrations of CCAM (Flagship Pilot), supporting ambitious real-world demonstrations to validate automated mobility solutions and accelerate their deployment.

🔹 Geopolitical competition and socioeconomic resilience in CCAM, addressing Europe’s competitiveness, technological leadership and resilience in an evolving global mobility landscape.

🔹 Generative AI for smarter CCAM, exploring the potential of artificial intelligence to enhance automated driving systems, simulation environments, traffic management and operational efficiency.

The calls are open to a wide range of stakeholders, including research organisations, industry, technology providers, public authorities and mobility operators, encouraging collaboration across sectors and countries.

As Europe continues to invest in the digital and green transformation of transport, these funding opportunities provide a platform for developing and demonstrating innovative solutions that can support the future deployment of connected and automated mobility services.

Organisations interested in participating can find further information on the available topics and funding opportunities through the CCAM Association.
