DIVERSIFY-CCAM launches survey for designers and developers of Automated Mobility Solutions

The DIVERSIFY-CCAM project is inviting professionals involved in the design and development of CCAM technologies to participate in a new survey exploring how diversity-related considerations influence the development of mobility solutions.

As automated mobility technologies continue to evolve, ensuring that they are accessible, inclusive, and responsive to the needs of diverse user groups is becoming increasingly important. DIVERSIFY-CCAM aims to support this objective by investigating how political, cultural, geographical, social, and other diversity factors are incorporated into the design and development processes of CCAM systems and services.

The survey is conducted within Task 5.4 of the DIVERSIFY-CCAM project and seeks insights from designers, developers, engineers, researchers, and other professionals working on automated and connected mobility solutions. Participants are invited to share their experiences, perspectives, and approaches related to decision-making, user needs, accessibility, inclusiveness, and equality in mobility.

The collected responses will contribute to the development of a Handbook of Recommendations for CCAM Designers and Developers, providing practical guidance to support the creation of mobility solutions that better reflect the diverse realities of European users and communities.

Participation is voluntary, responses will be treated anonymously, and completion of the questionnaire takes approximately 25 minutes.

At the end of the survey, participants may optionally provide their email address if they wish to receive information about possible follow-up activities, such as interviews, and obtain a copy of the Handbook upon completion of the project.

The survey is organised by the Transport Research Centre (Brno, Czech Republic) on behalf of the DIVERSIFY-CCAM project consortium.
