CCAM SRIA Review launch

The CCAM Partnership kicked off its Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) review process with the 1st meeting on 18 January in Brussels.

The objective of the review is to develop a strategic framework for the second phase of the Horizon European research programme and to take into account all the developments that took place from the time of the Partnership’s launch in 2021.

6 horizontal topics were identified to be in need of updates, in additional to all the 7 CCAM Clusters-related content:

  • Regulatory actions
  • Recent events and policy context
  • How to reach the large-scale demonstrations
  • Alignment, Exchanges, and Joint Actions with other Horizon Europe Partnerships and EU Programmes
  • States Representatives Group
  • International cooperation

It was not an easy task, but the core group took up the challenge in the brown paper workshop and in the 7 CCAM Clusters’ group work. The extensive brainstorming results will constitute a firm basis for the drafting team.

The leaders on each topic were identified, and the process of performing the tasks, including deadlines, was outlined and discussed to ensure everyone was aligned.

Now the real work has begun. The public consultation of the CCAM SRIA review will be launched at the upcoming 4th European Conference on Connected and Automated Driving (EUCAD2023), which will take place in Brussels on 3 and 4 May 2023. Programme and registration to come soon.
