CCAM Vice Chair @ Automated and Autonomous Mobility Forum 2025

Automated and Autonomous Mobility Forum 2025 Poland

Our vice-chair, Hamid Zarghampour, had the pleasure of speaking at the Automated and Autonomous Mobility Forum: Driving the Future, which took place on 23 September in Katowice, Poland at the occasion of the yearly New Mobility Congress.

Along speakers from the Polish Parliament, Uber, Valeo and DEKRA, Hamid highlighted three priorities for Europe’s leadership in autonomous mobility:

  • Harmonised regulations – the foundation of competitiveness. Fragmented rules mean fragmented investment.
  • A hybrid strategy for infrastructure investment – combining strong – onboard intelligence with selective, high-impact digital infrastructure. Infrastructure should support, not dictate, autonomy.
  • Foundational European cloud and data services – not a cost, but prerequisites for independence, resilience, and safety in building a modern transport system.

Europe stands at a crossroads in automated mobility — the choices we make today will define whether we lead or follow in the global race.
