EC High-Level Dialogue on a forward-looking Research and Innovation agenda for Climate Neutrality by 2050
The European Commission’s Directorate General for Research & Innovation (DG RTD) is organising a ‘The High-Level Dialogue on a forward-looking Research and Innovation agenda for Climate Neutrality by 2050’.
This dialogue, which will take place on 12 June from 10:30-12:15 online and will be open to the public, offers a unique opportunity to gain insights from leading experts in the field. You can follow by registering here: Events | The research and innovation community platform (europa.eu)
During the event there will be a presentation of a recent report ‘Research and Innovation for Climate Neutrality by 2050: Challenges, Opportunities and the Path Forward’. Its aim is to provide policy recommendations regarding the design, principles and solution landscapes needed for a long-term, forward-looking R&I agenda to accelerate the transition to net-zero emissions.
Based on the reflection of this report and the need to further discuss how R&I can best contribute to the climate neutrality goal, DG Research and Innovation is organising this online event.
