EC Survey on zero-emission heavy-duty road transport technology state of the art and future research and innovation
The European Commission opened a questionnaire, part of a study conducted by the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC) on behalf of the Directorate-General for Climate Action (DG CLIMA). The study aims to gather evidence and provide analysis to develop a technology readiness and research and innovation gap analysis report dedicated to zero-emission heavy-duty vehicles (ZE-HDVs). The findings will guide future EU research and innovation funding programmes, considering the EU’s ambitious CO₂ emission reduction targets for heavy-duty vehicles as set by Regulation (EU) 2024/1610.
