EVENTS Final Event

After 3.5 years of dedicated research in the CCAM field, the EVENTS project is ready to present its key outcomes and live vehicle demonstrations at a public final event.
It will take place on Wednesday, 25 February 2026 from 10:30-16:00 CET, at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, TU Delft, in Delft, the Netherlands, with the option to also participate online.
EVENTS is a Horizon Europe project that aimed to address complex situations where the normal operation of a Connected and Automated Vehicle is close to disruption (due to dynamic traffic changes, harsh weather or lighting conditions, unstructured roads, imperfect data, sensor or communication failures etc.). In this context, EVENTS has developed a robust and resilient perception and decision-making system designed to tackle critical CCAM challenges. When system performance cannot meet the required quality or reliability levels, an enhanced Minimum Risk Manoeuvre is automatically triggered—strengthening safety and trust in automated mobility.
