Join the SYNERGIES Co-Creation Workshop and Help Shape the Future European Scenario Dataspace

The SYNERGIES project is inviting stakeholders from across the CCAM ecosystem to take part in a dedicated co-creation workshop in Brussels on 9 September 2026. The event will provide a unique opportunity to contribute to discussions on the future European Scenario Dataspace and the role it can play in supporting safer and more efficient validation of automated driving systems.

Bringing together OEMs, suppliers, standardisation bodies, type-approval experts and other key stakeholders, the workshop will focus on identifying the scenarios that Europe should prioritise for safety validation and exploring the conditions needed to enable trusted sharing of data and scenarios across the CCAM ecosystem.

Participants will be able to engage with a live demonstration of scenario generation through the SYNERGIES Marketplace and help identify the use cases where access to high-quality scenarios is most critical. Discussions will also address current gaps and challenges, ensuring that future tools and services respond to the needs of the community.

Another key topic will be the governance of the future European Federated Platform. Stakeholders will be invited to share their perspectives on roles, responsibilities and expectations related to the Scenario Dataspace and Marketplace, while contributing to discussions on governance options and business model elements that can support a trustworthy and sustainable ecosystem in the long term.

The workshop is designed to move beyond concepts and facilitate concrete discussions on how scenarios should be generated, prioritised and shared to advance scenario-based safety validation in Europe. The outcomes will help inform the development of solutions that support collaboration, interoperability and innovation across the CCAM sector.

The event is organised by ERTICO – ITS Europe, CLEPA, Institut fΓΌr Kraftfahrzeuge (ika) at RWTH Aachen University, and SAE International Europe, together with the SYNERGIES coordination team at Applus+ IDIADA. It also builds on the discussions initiated during the co-creation workshop on software-defined vehicle standards organised by SAE Europe and CLEPA on 8 September in Brussels.

With participation intentionally limited to support focused and interactive exchanges, interested stakeholders are encouraged to register early and secure their place.
