Global CCAM Observatory launched and first landscape report published

The CCAM Association is pleased to highlight the launch of the Global CCAM Observatory on the CAD Knowledge Base and the publication of its first landscape report, Mapping the Automated Mobility Ecosystem.

The Global CCAM Observatory aims to provide a structured overview of developments in Connected, Cooperative and Automated Mobility (CCAM) worldwide. It supports international cooperation, knowledge sharing and the identification of key trends, stakeholders, policies and initiatives shaping the future of automated mobility.

The Observatory was partially introduced during the Transport Research Arena (TRA) conference in Budapest, where initial concepts and functionalities were presented to the CCAM community. Presentation slides from the TRA session are available through the CAD Knowledge Base news item: https://www.connectedautomateddriving.eu/blog/global-ccam-observatory-launched-on-the-cad-knowledge-base/

As a first major deliverable, the Joint Research Centre (JRC) has now published the report Mapping the Automated Mobility Ecosystem. The report provides a comprehensive overview of the global automated mobility landscape, including key actors, research and innovation activities, policies, testing initiatives and market developments.

The publication is available here: JRC Publications – Mapping the Automated Mobility Ecosystem

The CCAM Association encourages its members, projects and stakeholders to explore the Observatory and make use of the report as a valuable resource supporting collaboration and strategic reflection across the CCAM ecosystem.
