Hi-Drive Final Event – Bridging the Gaps in the ODD

HI-DRIVE final Conference

After four years of research, testing, and cross-European collaboration, the Hi-Drive project is coming to a close – and you are invited to experience its results first-hand.

The Hi-Drive Final Event presents a unique, interactive format that transcends the traditional conference setting. Instead of long presentations, expect short, sharp teaser talks from leading experts – designed to spark curiosity and guide you toward the heart of the event: a hands-on exhibition of real-world use cases, demonstrators, simulators, and in-depth discussions directly at the booths.

The event will be structured around three main topics:

  • Vehicles, Operations & Enablers – Experience the newest automated driving prototypes, dive into strategies for navigating complex traffic situations, and discover the key technologies enabling resilient automation.
  • Effects & Impact Assessment – Learn how automation is shaping safety, traffic efficiency, and user experience, with valuable insights into both opportunities and challenges for future mobility.
  • Users – Explore how Hi-Drive has addressed diverse user needs by improving comfort, fostering acceptance, and advancing human-machine interfaces for intuitive and safe interaction with automated vehicles.

The day will conclude with the Hi-Drive Cocktail Reception (starting at 6:00 PM), offering a relaxed space for informal exchange and networking.

Hi-Drive is hosting its Final Event in collaboration with EUCAR – The European Council for Automotive R&D.
EUCAR’s separate Conference & Reception will take place at the same venue on 26–27 November.
The exhibition will remain in place and serve as a shared backdrop for both events.
