Monitoring today. Understanding the past. Improving the future. Read the CCAM Partnership Performance Assessment and Projects Monitoring Report

The CCAM Partnership Performance Assessment and Projects Monitoring Report (2024-2025) is now available, providing valuable insights into the progress, achievements and remaining challenges of the CCAM)Partnership.
The study was carried out by fka GmbH on behalf of the CCAM Partnership and is based on a mixed methodology combining desk research, KPI analysis and interviews with coordinators and teams from 38 CCAM Partnership projects.
The findings confirm that the CCAM Partnership is making substantial progress towards its strategic objectives. The assessment highlights significant achievements in areas such as vehicle safety, validation methodologies, knowledge sharing, and the development and adoption of common tools and frameworks for evaluating project results.
The report also shows how individual projects are contributing to the broader objectives of the CCAM Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA), helping to build a more connected and coordinated European research and innovation ecosystem.
At the same time, the assessment identifies areas where further efforts are needed. These include large-scale demonstrations, cross-border testing, data sharing, societal acceptance, the involvement of public authorities, business models, human-machine interaction, and international harmonisation.
A key message emerging from the report is that many of these challenges cannot be addressed by individual projects alone. Instead, they require coordinated action across the wider CCAM ecosystem, reinforcing the importance of collaboration, knowledge exchange and alignment of research and innovation activities at European level.
As discussions on FP10 get underway, these findings are particularly timely. They underline the importance of preserving and strengthening the systemic approach that characterises the CCAM community in order to accelerate deployment and market uptake while boosting European competitiveness.
The CCAM Partnership would like to thank fka GmbH for conducting this comprehensive monitoring and assessment exercise, as well as all project coordinators and partners who contributed their expertise and feedback throughout the process.
