SYNERGIES Platform Goes Live, Creating a New Collaborative Environment for the CCAM Community

The SYNERGIES project has reached an important milestone with the launch of the SYNERGIES Platform, a new federated environment designed to support the development, testing and validation of Connected, Cooperative and Automated Mobility (CCAM) systems.

With its first public release, the platform brings together two core components: a Scenario Dataspace and a Marketplace, creating a single environment where stakeholders can access data, discover tools, share assets and collaborate across the CCAM ecosystem.

The platform has been designed around a scenario-centric approach, recognising that high-quality scenarios are essential for the development, verification and safety validation of automated mobility solutions. By providing structured access to scenarios, datasets and tools, SYNERGIES supports researchers, developers, industry stakeholders and public authorities in streamlining validation activities and accelerating innovation.

At the heart of the platform is a comprehensive asset management framework. Users can register, manage and discover a wide range of assets, including scenarios, datasets and software tools. Through metadata-driven functionalities, assets can be categorised, filtered and searched according to specific criteria such as Operational Design Domains (ODDs), intended use cases or validation objectives. This enables users to quickly identify and access resources relevant to their activities.

The Scenario Dataspace supports the entire scenario lifecycle, from scenario generation and extraction to integration into federated scenario databases. Meanwhile, the Marketplace provides visibility and access to tools and datasets, facilitating knowledge sharing and collaboration across projects, organisations and disciplines.

A key strength of the platform lies in its ability to centralise access to critical resources while maintaining a federated approach. By offering a unified framework for managing scenarios, tools and datasets, SYNERGIES contributes to greater interoperability, improved efficiency and stronger cooperation throughout the CCAM ecosystem.

As automated mobility systems become increasingly complex, scenario-based development and validation are playing a growing role in ensuring safety, reliability and scalability. The launch of the SYNERGIES Platform represents an important step towards providing the CCAM community with the digital infrastructure needed to support these activities and foster innovation across Europe.
