CCAM Association General Assembly: more clarity for members on testbeds and the ECAVA

The CCAM Association held its 12th General Assembly in a hybrid setting on 24 November in Brussels and online. The meeting began with the welcoming of 10 new members, further strengthening the Association’s cross-sectoral community.

Additionally, two new CCAM Partnership Delegation representatives, Federico Cartasegna (IVECO Group), for the member category: Automotive manufacturers, and Justyna Beckmann (FIA), for the member category: Civil Society Representation, were elected, joining the club of association representatives to support the CCAM Partnership’s governance structure.

European Commission representatives, Stefan Bogensberger (DG CNECT) and Geert Van Der Linden (DG MOVE), followed with an insightful discussion with the CCAM Association Chairman, Christian Merkt, on the large-scale cross-border testbeds for autonomous vehicles and the European Connected and Autonomous Vehicle Alliance (ECAVA). The landscape of CCAM activities in Europe has recently become very broad, and it is crucial to understand the links between different initiatives, including the CCAM Partnership.
Many stakeholders stayed in Brussels for the final event of the Hi-Drive project that took place the day after.
