Accelerating the Future: Join the 5G Corridor Workshop!

The future of transportation is upon us, fueled by 5G technology. With the invaluable support of HaDEA and DG CNECT, the GUIDE project is proud to present a remarkable opportunity that will shape the future of European mobility. You are invited to participate in the face-to-face workshop hosted by the European Commission, where we will review the two groundbreaking 5G Strategic Deployment Agendas published in 2020, focusing on rail and road.

The deployment of 5G cross-border corridors along transport paths throughout Europe is a pivotal step towards achieving the green and digital transformation the European Union envisions for its economy and society. In particular, 5G-enabled Connected and Automated Mobility (CAM) is seen as a major enabler for improved transport safety, optimised traffic management, reduced CO₂ emissions, and industrial competitiveness of all transport and mobility-related sectors. This includes all aspects of road, rail, waterways and logistics, as they can all use the advanced infrastructure to optimise their use cases and services.

This workshop isn’t just a gathering; it’s a catalyst for change. This workshop will build on CEF Digital Call 1 projects and it will engage key stakeholders in strategic conversation, including priority deployment roadmaps, various cooperation models, and sharing best practices that can drive the 5G corridor deployment forward.

Do you want to know more? You can find the programme on the workshop website. If you wish to participate, fill out the form at the bottom of the same webpage.

The workshop will take place in Brussels on 10 October 2023.
